The Kingsbarns Distillery is located in the Fife region of Scotland and was founded by Douglas Clement in 2014. The distillery is situated on the grounds of the historic East Newhall Farm, which was originally built around 1800.

Today, the Kingsbarns Distillery is owned by the Wemyss family, who have been involved in the whisky industry since the 19th century. The name "Kingsbarns" is derived from the nearby village of Kingsbarns and the royal connections of the area.

Kingsbarns is known for its fruity and light single malts. The distillery produces approximately 200,000 liters of new make spirit annually. For production, water is sourced from a 100-meter-deep well, and the barley is exclusively from the Fife region.

The barley is malted at Muntons without peat smoke, resulting in a pure and fruity whisky. The distillation process is slow and takes place in two medium-sized Scottish pot stills by Richard Forsyth from Rothes.

One of the most well-known bottlings from Kingsbarns is the "Dream to Dram," a three-year-old single malt distilled in 2015 and primarily aged in ex-bourbon casks from the Heaven Hill Distillery. Another notable bottling is the "Balcomie," a single malt aged in Oloroso sherry casks, known for its rich and spicy aromas.

The Kingsbarns Distillery is also a popular visitor destination, offering tours of the distillery and tastings. The visitor center is housed in the carefully restored buildings of the former farm, offering a blend of historical and modern architecture.
