DESCRIPTION
When you look at the Thompson Bros. portfolio, you don't think of a place the size of a garage. Yet the tiny, private fire station at Dornoch Castle is home to the brand. And its micro-distillery. Phil and Simon Thompson and three employees are behind the independent bottler and the Dornoch Distillery, which was founded in 2016.

The brothers developed their passion for whisky in their parents' hotel business in Dornoch Castle. Here they established a whisky bar known far beyond the Highlands and associated their name with hand-picked premium bottlings.

With the TB/BSW 6 y.o., the whisky brothers are once again demonstrating their knack for blends. The blended Scotch whisky combines single malts and single grains that have been matured for more than 6 years. When choosing their ingredients, the Thompson Bros. celebrate sherry maturation. They were inspired by sherry-heavy blends of the past.

The result is a complex experience with notes of miso, raisin bread, toasted cinnamon and orange peel.
