DESCRIPTION

„Peat“ – so heißt die erste ständig verfügbare Abfüllung von „Elements of Islay“. Der kräftige Blended Malt vereint die vielfältigen Charakterzüge der Islay-Brennereien in einem komplexen Insel-Whisky mit prägnanten Noten getrockneter Früchte, würzigem Torf und aromatischen Röstaromen. Wie alle Bottlings wird auch dieser Whisky ohne künstliche Farbstoffe, nicht kühlgefiltert und in Fassstärke abgefüllt.

TASTING NOTES

Nose	Orangenschale und dick geschnittener Speck mit Muscheln und glühenden Kohlen.
Palate	Hickory-Rauch und ein Hauch von Lapsang-Souchong-Tee mit gesalzenem Karamell und dunkler Schokolade.
Finish	Meeresgischt und Bratapfel verblassen und hinterlassen starken Rauch, Trüffelsalz und süße Gewürze.
