DESCRIPTION

The Darkness Whisky Dalmore 9 Years is a limited edition release that will delight any whisky lover. Produced at the renowned Dalmore Distillery, known for its rich and complex single malts, this whisky has been finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks and bottled at 49.8%. The maturation in smaller "Octave Casks" – casks that are only about one-eighth the size of a typical sherry cask – gives this whisky an especially intense aromatic structure.

The Darkness brand is known for independently bottled single malt Scotch whiskies that are particularly aromatic and deep due to their maturation in sherry octave casks. These casks offer a greater surface area contact between wood and whisky, leading to a more intense and richer flavor development. The result is a whisky with deep notes of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and a hint of spices, further enhanced by the Pedro Ximénez sherry influence.

The Dalmore Distillery, located in the Scottish Highlands, has a long tradition of whisky production and is known for its full-bodied and complex single malts.
