DESCRIPTION
Roundstone Rye ist ein einzigartiger Roggenwhisky, der in der Catocin Creek Destillerie in Purcellville, Virginia, von Grund auf neu hergestellt wird. Dieser Roggenwhisky im Stil der Zeit vor der Prohibition wird zu 100 % aus Roggen hergestellt, der, wenn verfügbar, aus der Region bezogen wird. Er wird in der Brennerei eingemaischt, vergoren, destilliert und vollständig gereift, bevor er mit einem Alkoholgehalt von 80 % abgefüllt wird.

Der Whisky reift etwa zwei Jahre lang in neuen, verkohlten Weißeichenfässern. Er ist weich, holzig und hat den für Virginia-Roggenwhisky typischen vollmundigen, fruchtig-nussigen Getreidegeschmack.
