Premiumfässer mit schottischem Whisky aufstöbern – das stand schon immer im Mittelpunkt der Elixir Distillers. Seit 2002 veröffentlicht der unabhängige Abfüller diese unter dem Namen The Single Malts of Scotland. Die Range besteht aus herausragenden, unverfälschten Vintage Single Malts aller schottischer Whiskyregionen.

Dieser 11-jährige Single Malt aus einer geheimen Brennerei auf Orkney wurde im Juni 2011 destilliert. Der Whisky reifte in einem Sherry Butt Nummer 3 bis September 2022, als er ungefiltert und ungefärbt mit einer Fassstärke von 56,5% vol. abgefüllt wurde.

    As an independent bottler, Elixir Distillers searches for casks from various distilleries in Scotland to find the best malts. Each cask is tasted, and only when it is deemed to be of the highest quality is it bottled in their Single Malts of Scotland series as a single cask or as part of a small batch.

    Many of the bottlings from Single Malts of Scotland have received awards and have been praised by critics. As it becomes increasingly difficult to find such old casks, it is unlikely that any whisky will ever be repeated.

    Each bottling is one of a limited number, making it perfect as a special gift or offering the chance to try something truly unique.
