DESCRIPTION
Nur vier Fässer produziert die Dingle Distillery jeden Tag. Die in einem alten Sägewerk errichtete Whiskybrennerei spiegelt den Charakter ihres Heimatortes, Dingle. Das malerische Städtchen liegt auf einer Halbinsel an der Südwestküste Irlands, umgeben von zerklüfteten Felsen und dem unendlich scheinenden Atlantik. Hier lässt man den Dingen ihre Zeit. Eile? Ein Fremdwort. Stattdessen wird Handarbeit großgeschrieben – in jedem Produktionsschritt. Vom Einmaischen über das Trennen von Vor-, Mittel- und Nachlauf bis hin zum Abfüllen in Flaschen legen Master Distiller Graham Coull und sein Team persönlich Hand an.

Das Ergebnis: Irish Single Malt Whiskey auf höchstem Qualitätsniveau. Das neueste Beispiel der Dingle-Handwerkskunst haben Feinschmecker hierzulande ganz für sich allein: Dingle Distillery 2014/2022, das erste offizielle Single Cask der Brennerei für den deutschen Markt. Zu diesem Anlass hat Kirsch ein einzelnes Pedro Ximénez Sherry Cask in insgesamt 312 Flaschen abfüllen lassen.

Mit seinen 8 Jahren Reifung im milden, feuchten Küstenklima ist der rotbraune Whiskey eine der ältesten Dingle-Abfüllungen. Bei 59,7% vol. Cask Strength steht dunkelfruchtiger, süßer Hochgenuss auf dem Programm.
