DESCRIPTION

Mackmyra Björksav (Birkensaft) ist ein schwedischer Single Malt Whisky inspiriert von der lang erwarteten Rückkehr des Frühlings.

Durch die Verwendung von Fässern, die mit schwedischem Birkensaft gewürzt wurden, schuf die Brennerei einen blumigen Whisky mit frischer Würze und süßen Noten von Vanillekaramell. Björksav ist eine Zusammenarbeit mit ihren Freunden von Grythyttan Wein.

TASTING NOTES

Nose	Blumig und fruchtig mit leichter Würze, Vanillekaramell, Sandelholz, Zedernholz und geröstetem Brot. Blumige und leicht wachsige Noten von Birkensaft. Runde und fruchtige Noten von Kirsche, Rosinen, Apfel, Birne und Zitrone.
Palate	Eine frische und fruchtige Würze mit leichten Mineralien und Kräutern zusammen mit Vanillepudding, Rosinen, Apfel, reifen Birnen und Zitrone. Leichte Gewürze von Vanille, gerösteter Eiche, Blütenhonig, Sandelholz, Zedernholz, Anis, weißem Pfeffer und Ingwer. Runde Eichen- und Vanillegewürze zusammen mit einer leicht öligen Textur.
Finish	Leichte, würzige Noten in Harmonie mit gerösteter Eiche und Trockenfrüchten.

Mackmyra is a Swedish whisky distillery founded in 1999 and located near the city of Gävle. The distillery has made a name for itself by producing single malt whisky using exclusively Swedish ingredients. Mackmyra operates its innovative Gravity Distillery, which opened in 2011 and is known for its environmentally friendly and efficient production. This distillery uses gravity to transport ingredients from top to bottom through the various production phases, significantly reducing energy consumption.
