DESCRIPTION
Dieser Fettercairn 16 Jahre alt wurde als Kernabfüllung für die schottische Whiskymarke im Juni 2020 veröffentlicht. Diese erste Abfüllung für das Jahr 2020 enthält schokoladengemälzte (stark gemälzte) Gerste und reift zunächst in Ex-Bourbon-Fässern aus amerikanischer Eiche mit erster Befüllung. Anschließend wird der Single Malt in Sherry- und Portweinfässern für die letzten zwei Jahre der Reifung gelagert.

Wie der Name schon sagt, ist dies der erste einer Reihe von Single Malts in diesem Alter für die Marke.
