Inmitten des hügeligen Postkarten-Idylls liegt die Cotswolds Distillery, 2014 im kleinen Dorf Shipston-on-Stour als erste vollumfängliche Destillerie der Region gegründet. Inspiriert von der atemberaubenden Landschaft, produziert die Brennerei aus lokaler, bodengemälzter Gerste naturbelassenen Whisky.

Exklusiv für die Kunden von Kirsch Import gönnte die Cotswolds Distillery ihrem fruchtig-komplexen Rohbrand eine besonders aromatische Reifezeit.

Der Cotswolds 2016/2022 reifte in einem Hogshead aus spanischer Eiche, vorbelegt mit trockenem, nussigem Sherry vom Typ Oloroso. Die verlockend dunkle Einzelfassabfüllung floss mit 59,9% vol. Cask Strength direkt aus dem Fass in insgesamt 297 Flaschen.
