Reservoir wurde 2008 in Richmond, Virginia, von den Jugendfreunden Jay Carpenter und Dave Cuttino gegründet, die ihr südliches Erbe ehren und die konventionelle Whiskey-Welt aufrütteln wollten. Es war die dritte Bourbon-Whiskey-Destillerie, die außerhalb von Kentucky gegründet wurde.

Eine von 4 Abfüllungen aus der Resevoir Distillery in Virginia von der Boutique-y Whisky Company. Diese Abfüllung besteht zu 100 % aus Weizen, reift 2 Jahre und ist eine von 481 Flaschen. Die Gründer der Destillerie, Jay und David, sehen auf dem Etikett sehr zufrieden aus.

TASTING NOTES

Nose	Schokolade, Vanille und Toffee fügen saftige Süße zu sauren Beeren und einer Vielzahl von reichen, holzigen Tanninen hinzu.
Palate	Die jugendliche Eiche bildet den Kern, aus dem die Ingwerwürze hervorsticht.
Finish	Ein köstlicher Hauch von Karamell verbleibt inmitten von weicheren Stückchen und einem Hauch von Kirsche.

Reservoir - American Whiskey
Reservoir was founded in 2008 in Richmond, Virginia, by childhood friends Jay Carpenter and Dave Cuttino. The Reservoir Distillery was only the third bourbon whiskey distillery to be established outside of Kentucky. As a small distillery, all bottles are hand-filled and individually numbered. In fact, everything in the distillery is handcrafted, from mashing to distilling to the final sealing of the bottles.
All the grain comes from within a 45-mile radius of the distillery, making everything very local. And now for something truly special: the distillery only produces single grain whiskeys. Their bourbon consists of 100% corn. Their rye consists of 100% rye. Their wheat whiskey consists of 100% wheat. Recently, they received multiple gold and even double gold awards at the San Francisco World Spirits Awards.
