DESCRIPTION

Die Single Grain Cooper's Collection ist die erste in einer Reihe von jährlichen limitierten Abfüllungen des Master Blenders Michael Henry.

Er wurde ausschließlich aus 100 % gemälzter Gerste destilliert und reifte anschließend in Fässern aus amerikanischer Eiche mit einem Abschluss in japanischen Mizunara-Fässern, die die natürlichen Aromen hervorhoben.

Das Ergebnis ist ein weicher Whisky mit einem eleganten fruchtigen und blumigen Charakter, der durch die duftende Würze der Mizunara-Eichenfässer noch verstärkt wird.

  • Loch Lomond - Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    The Loch Lomond Distillery is located in Alexandria, Scotland, and was founded in 1966. The distillery is known for its innovation and flexibility in whisky production. It uses both traditional pot stills and unique straight neck stills, allowing for a wide range of flavor profiles. The distillery produces single malt, single grain, and blended whiskies.

    Popular releases include the Loch Lomond 12 Year Old, Inchmurrin 12 Year Old, and Inchmoan 12 Year Old. These whiskies are characterized by fruity notes, sweet honey, and a hint of smoke, making them particularly versatile and accessible. The 18-year-old Loch Lomond is also highly regarded, offering a complex blend of ripe fruits, vanilla, and a slightly spicy note.

    Historically, the distillery was founded by Duncan Thomas and the American company Barton Brands. After several ownership changes and modernizations, it is now part of the Loch Lomond Group, which also includes the Glen Scotia Distillery. An interesting fact is that the Loch Lomond brand became known through the comic series "Tintin" by Hergé, although the brand mentioned in the series was independently invented and not related to the real distillery.

    Loch Lomond whiskies mature in a mix of bourbon, sherry, and wine casks, contributing to their complexity and depth.
