DESCRIPTION
J.W. Dant Bottled in Bond ist ein Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, der von der Heaven Hill Distillery in Bardstown, Kentucky, hergestellt wird. Dieser Whiskey ist nach Joseph Washington Dant benannt, einem Brenner aus Kentucky in den 1830er Jahren, der seine Brennblase aus einem ausgehöhlten Baumstamm gebaut haben soll.

J.W. Dant ist ein Bottled-in-Bond, d.h. ein mindestens 4 Jahre alter Straight Bourbon, der mit 100 proof abgefüllt wird. Er wird aus Heaven Hill's 78% Mais, 10% Roggen und 12% Gerstenmalz Maische destilliert.

TASTING NOTES
Nose Banane und Nussigkeit sind die ersten Noten, die man wahrnimmt, gefolgt von Zuckermais, Eiche, Vanille und weißschaligen Früchten.
Palate Die nussigen Noten aus der Nase setzen sich am Gaumen fort, zusammen mit einer fast salzigen Qualität. Gesalzene Erdnüsse und viele Karamell- und Maisaromen.
Finish Lang, würzig. Die Eiche dominiert, mit subtileren Backgewürzen, Muskatnuss und schwarzem Pfeffer.
