DESCRIPTION

The Emperor's Way Cream Sherry Single Cask – Peated Hercynian Single Malt Whisky is an exclusive release, inspired by the historical Harz Emperor's Way. This strictly limited edition comprises only 250 bottles and is aimed at whisky enthusiasts and connoisseurs.

Made from 100 percent local barley, dried over Lower Saxon peat, this Single Malt offers an intense smokiness of up to 35 ppm. The whisky matured for five years in a cream sherry cask that was previously seasoned with (semi-)dry Oloroso sherry, enhanced with naturally sweet wine or concentrated grape must. This maturation process gives the whisky a special complexity and a rich aromatic profile.

The Emperor's Way Cream Sherry Single Cask was bottled at cask strength with 57.3% ABV to preserve the full range of flavors. The combination of sweet dried fruits, almonds, and robust peat smoke provides a balanced tasting experience. The whisky is neither colored nor chill-filtered, preserving its natural character.
