DESCRIPTION

The 1770 Glasgow Single Malt Peated Oloroso Cask #18/1192 is produced by the Glasgow Distillery Company, founded in 2014, and is the first new single malt distillery in Glasgow since 1902. This whisky was distilled on March 16, 2018, and bottled on April 4, 2024, giving it an age of six years. It initially matured in fresh American oak casks and then received a finish in an Oloroso sherry cask numbered 18/1192, which contributes to its unique flavor profile.

The 1770 Glasgow Peated Oloroso Cask is bottled at cask strength with 62% ABV, without chill filtration and without added coloring, preserving its natural purity and intensity. The flavor profile of this whisky is complex and layered. It combines smoky and tobacco notes with fruity and spicy elements. Dominant aromas include smoke, tobacco, orange peel, ginger, nuts, anise, and oak spice.

The limited edition of this whisky consists of only 318 bottles, making it a coveted rarity.
