Dieser sehr seltene Single Malt Whisky der Scapa Destillerie wurde 2005 destilliert und reifte 17 Jahre lang im First Fill Bourbon Barrel Nr. 486. Er wurde im August 2022 von Gordon & Macphail als Teil ihrer Connoisseurs Choice in Fassstärke abgefüllt.

  • Scapa - Island Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    Die Scapa Distillery ist eine der nördlichsten Whisky-Destillerien Schottlands. Sie liegt am Scapa Flow, einer Bucht, die von den Orkney-Inseln und einem fast landeinwärts gelegenen Meer umgeben ist. Scapa ist bekannt für seinen maritimen, aber im Allgemeinen nicht rauchigen Whisky. Er ist eher leicht und süß mit leichten Fruchtnoten und deutlichen Vanillearomen. Im Jahr 2005 ging er in den Besitz von Pernod Ricard über, und im Oktober 2005 wurde die vollständige Produktion wieder aufgenommen.
