Von der ersten Flasche an waren die Midleton Very Rare Whiskeys eng mit dem Master Distiller verbunden, dessen Unterschrift jede Flasche ziert.

Sein Schöpfer, Barry Crockett, ist eine echte Irish-Whiskey-Legende, und sein Vater Max Crockett war bereits vor ihm Master Distiller. Barry Crockett wurde im Master Distiller's House auf dem Gelände der Midleton Distillery geboren und wuchs dort auf. Diese lange Geschichte und dieses Erbe sind einer der vielen Gründe, warum Midleton Very Rare als der ursprüngliche Prestige-Whiskey Irlands gilt.

TASTING NOTES
Nase
Nose		 A delicate floral perfume, closely followed by roasted coffee beans, salted caramel and honeycomb that come to the fore. Hints of nectarine, freshly grated ginger and nutmeg spice.
Gaumen
Palate		 Baked orchard fruit with hints of lime zest and kiwi. Mild pot still spices with hints of vanilla, sweet coffee liqueur and cocoa powder. Delicate hints of clove oil and nutmeg that add a mild spiciness and balance the sweetness.
Abgang
Finish		 Long lasting finish of still spice and soft fruit with fresh woodland notes and charred oak.

    Das Aushängeschild der Midleton-Destillerie ist Midleton Very Rare, eine Mischung aus kleinen Chargen, die jährlich herausgegeben wird. Sie wurde 1984 eingeführt, um die Whiskeys der Midleton-Brennerei zu feiern, und seitdem wird jedes Jahr ein neuer Jahrgang herausgebracht.
