This whiskey is the distillery's attempt to bottle the magic of the sunset with its endless horizon of reds, oranges and purples.

Lasanta begins with the famous giraffe-high stills that produce a deliciously smooth and fruity spirit. The whiskey is then matured in bourbon and sherry casks for 12 years, making it a delicious odyssey of rich spice and sun-kissed sweetness. It shines with raisins, honeycomb and chocolate-covered hazelnuts, lightened with a pinch of cinnamon. Every time you watch the sunset you see something different - that's what happens when you drink Lasanta.

    Die in der Nähe der Stadt Tain im Nordosten Schottlands gelegene Glenmorangie Distillery stellt Glenmorangie Single Malt Whisky her, der weit über die Grenzen seines Heimatlandes hinaus bekannt ist.

    Glenmorangie Single Malt Whisky wird seit 1843 in den schottischen Highlands hergestellt, als der Bauer William Matheson und seine Frau Anne ihren Träumen folgten und die Glenmorangie Distillery gründeten.

    Die schottische Brennerei gilt als Pionier auf ihrem Gebiet und ist berühmt dafür, Tradition und Innovation zu verbinden, um die köstlichsten Whiskys herzustellen.

    Um dies zu erreichen, wird Glenmorangie Single Malt Whisky von den Menschen in Tain mit einem einzigartigen Destillationsverfahren hergestellt, bei dem die höchsten Brennblasen Schottlands verwendet werden. Der daraus resultierende Single Malt wird in den besten Eichenfässern gereift und zeugt von dem Know-how, das von Generation zu Generation von einem Team erfahrener Handwerker und Handwerkerinnen weitergegeben wurde.

    Die Brennblasen von Glenmorangie sind so groß wie eine Giraffe und lassen mehr Raum für Geschmack und Aroma, wodurch die Spirituose zart und fruchtig wird.

    Doch die Giraffe ist in freier Wildbahn ernsthaft bedroht, von der Wilderei bis zum Verlust ihres Lebensraums. Um der Giraffe zu helfen, schloss Glenmorangie 2020 eine Partnerschaft mit der Giraffe Conservation Foundation und der Royal Zoological Society of Scotland.
