  • Bunnahabhain - Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky

    Die Brennerei Bunnahabhain wird "Bunn-na-ha-venn" ausgesprochen, was in der gälischen Sprache "Mündung des Flusses" bedeutet. Sie ist die am weitesten entfernte Brennerei auf Islay und liegt in der Bunnahabhain Bay am Ufer des Sound of Islay.

    Während Islay für seinen getorften Whisky bekannt ist, hebt sich Bunnahabhain mit seinem unverkennbaren ungetorften Stil ab.

    Mit den höchsten Brennblasen auf der Insel und der einzigen Brennerei, die Wasser aus einer natürlichen Quelle verwendet, ist Bunnahabhain für seinen Sherry-getränkten, delikaten, komplexen und ungetorften Single Malt bekannt.

    Es gibt jedoch auch eine Ausnahme. Wenn Sie einen rauchigen Dram mögen, sollten Sie nach den Mòine-Editionen Ausschau halten (ausgesprochen moi-gna, was auf schottisch-gälisch "Torf" bedeutet).
